As you may or may not know we live in Sydney and today was the Melbourne Cup in Australia. I had SO much fun! It’s a horse race that puts on hold the whole country! You have to dress up for this event and I got to wear a nice dress and a cute little hat with feathers and ribbons. This year I decided to bet $5 in the sweeps. I’m not a big fan of gambling, so I would have never risked a lot of money. Now I sort of regret not putting in some more as I won $21! Hahaha It’s always easier to make a decision when you know the results…
Do you know how to pronounce the following words:
- Queso = Cheese
- Ahora = Now
- Quito = The capital city of Ecuador
