Christmas Vocabulary in Spanish:
¡Hola! It’s Brenda Romaniello here today. It’s time for Hola Tuesday, your weekly Spanish lesson!!
I’m so excited, I can’t contain myself. I’m picking up my mum from the airport tomorrow whose visiting us from Argentina. I haven’t seen her in 2 years! So, I can’t wait! And, I’m keeping my promise of driving to the airport to pick her up. Back in July, I made a proclamation that I was going to get my drivers licence to pick my mum up from the airport and I’m super proud I’m keeping my word.
As the end of the year approaches and we start to think of new goals, having a deadline is very helpful because it keeps you accountable. If you want to learn Spanish, make it a proclamation! By [enter when] I’ll speak Spanish/I’ll enrol in a course/I’ll travel to Spain or Latin America, etc. If you have something or someone that can keep you accountable such as telling a Spanish friend you want to practice and speak Spanish, a flight ticket to South America, etc, it will help you stay focused on your goal.
My mum is visiting Romi and I for the holidays, we’ll spend Christmas and New Years together. And since the holiday season is around the corner, today we have another Especial de Navidad de Hola Tuesday (xmas special).
Today we’ll have a look at some vocabulario de Navidad. We’ll repeat each word twice and then we’ll practice.
Now I would love to hear from you in the comments below. What’s your favourite xmas word in Spanish? Let me know in the comments below.
