¿Cómo estuvo tu fin de semana? El mío fue muy productivo y relajante. Trabajé mucho y me relajé también por la tarde. Hoy quiero hablarte de los sueños y de lo importante que es trabajar para lograrlos. Todos tenemos sueños y anhelos de cosas que nos gustaría tener o experimentar en nuestras vidas, pero para convertirlos en realidad necesitamos más que solo hablar de ellos y soñar despiertos, tenemos que actuar y trabajar duro para conseguirlos.
How was your weekend? Mine was very productive and relaxing. I worked a lot, but also relaxed in the afternoon. Today I’d like to talk to you about dreams and how important is it is to work to achieve them. We all have dreams and hopes about things that we’d like to have or experience in our lives, but to turn them into reality we need more than just talking about them and daydreaming, we have to take action and work hard to achieve them.

Para muchos, saber que tenemos que trabajar duro para conseguir nuestros sueños es desalentador… ¿quién quiere trabajar más y tener más responsabilidades de las que ya tenemos en nuestra vida diraria? Pero, hay una gran diferencia, trabajar duro en tus sueños es mucho más fácil de lo que parece porque lo haces con pasión y todos sabamos que hacer algo que nos da placer es mucho más fácil de hacer, el tiempo se pasa mucho más rápido y cuando terminas te invade una sensación de felicidad porque sabes que estás cada vez más cerca de lograr tus objetivos.
For many, knowing we have to work hard towards our dreams is discouraging… Who wants to work more and have more responsibilities than what we already have in our daily lives? But, there’s a big difference, working hard towards your dreams is a lot easier than it seems because you do it with passion and we all know that doing something that gives us pleasure is a lot easier to do, time goes faster​ and when you finish, a feeling of happiness overtakes you because you know that you are getting closer and closer to achieving your goals.

CLASE DE ESPAÑOL – SPANISH CLASS:

Today I’d like to teach you 5 ways that we can replace MUY + adjective. MUY is an adverb that means ‘very’ in English and when combined with an adjective in Spanish we use it to emphasise this adjective by either making it bigger, for example: muy grande (very big), or smaller, for example: muy pequeño (very small). MUY is certainly ‘very’ helpful when we have to describe things, people and situations, however, we can expand our vocabulary and used another adjective whose meaning is indeed greater and which can replace the structure MUY + adjective.
